Dean Elliott teaches from Hosea Chapters 6 and 7. The Book of Hosea is about the death of the nation of Israel. The people of Israel did not direct themselves towards God but rather superficially repented of their sins for a “quick fix.” In today’s passages, we will see 7 metaphors of Israel’s heart problems, which we can then relate to the believer’s issues within their hearts today.
