David denHartog teaches from Matthew 26:1-16.  When we invest in something with money, it is wise to ask: “Is it worth our investment?”  This is true whether we are investing our money in a business venture or the stock market, or if we are purchasing a piece of real estate or an item of clothing or a coffee.  Asking this question is also true of our time.   When you are faced with an opportunity to invest time or money, the value you place on something is going to be demonstrated by what you are willing to invest.  The “it” in Matthew is the Lord Jesus Christ and His kingdom.  Matthew 26:1-16 begins the prelude and the preparation for the events of the cruxifixction and the resurrection.
