David denHartog begins teaching I Corinthians 5 with a confession about an area of his leading in the church. We live in a culture today characterized by every sin and vice, and where those that claim to be Christians also participate in the same sins and look much like the world around them. The church is to be different, and address the sin issues of those within the church. Church discipline is not simply the responsibility of the church staff or pastors, but of everyone. We will see why that is true in I Corinthians 5.
