Kevin Bentley teaches from Job 4–7. Job has been expressing his pain to his friend and to God. His friend Eliphaz responds with cold logic, which cannot heal a broken heart. We will examine the four ways Eliphaz responds to Job in chapters 4–5. Then, in chapters 6–7, we will see how Job responds to Eliphaz and how his response reflects his relationship with the Lord. Job is also a foreshadow of the One who would suffer for the sake of the world: Jesus Christ.
