Pastoral Care

Due to the size of Cleburne Bible Church, the pastoral staff can’t keep up with all the pastoral needs of the church in terms of hospital visitation, care for those who are homebound or in rehab and nursing home facilities, people who are grieving, and the like.

Consequently, a Pastoral Care team for Cleburne Bible Church is in place and is a vital and essential part of our pastoral care for the emotional and spiritual needs of people in their time of need. We have an excellent team of trained non-staff caring people who are readily available and desirous to stand alongside people, whether it is short-term or long-term. They are the ones who will be attending surgeries, doing regular hospital visitation, reaching out in extended grief care, and more.

The team is presently led by Ken Byrd. Marc West, who has served professionally in a hospital chaplaincy, has provided and continues to provide in an ongoing basis the training necessary for the team.
