Weddings & Funerals

Weddings

If you choose to be married at CBC, we are committed to helping you make your wedding day a beautiful celebration. We are also committed to helping you make your marriage a life-long celebration of two lives God has brought together as a new family. When scheduling weddings, CBC gives priority to church members and their children. A “church member,” in this case, is someone who has participated regularly in CBC activities for at least three months prior to the wedding date.

  • To request use of the facilities for a wedding, please call the church office.
  • When your request is approved we will schedule an appointment for you to meet with the Facilities Manager. This person will assist you with your wedding plans that involve CBC’s facilities and staff.

Due to the requests many people both from within and without the church have made of him over the years to perform marriage ceremonies, he has developed a policy regarding the performance of marriages. This policy is based upon his understanding of Scripture and his desire to honor God by obedience to Scriptures.

This is at present his personal policy: PDF of Pastor Dave’s Marriage Policy

Bereavement

Funerals

The difficulties of dealing with the loss of a loved one can be overwhelming. Our pastors and volunteers are ready and available to stand with you during this critical time to bring counsel, comfort, and encouragement. They are also available to help organize and lead the service. Call the church’s main office at 817-641-8142 to let us know you need to schedule a funeral.

Our office is open Monday–Thursday, 9:00 am– 4:00 pm

Home and Hospital Visits

Because we care about our members and those in the community, our pastors and volunteers regularly visit with people who are homebound, in a nursing facility or hospital. If you or a loved one is needing prayer, encouragement, and news from the church, call us at 817-641-8142.
