BEGINNING THIS FRIDAY – CBC will host “the Compassion Journey,” an outreach to the people of Johnson County which will offer the opportunity to learn through a hands-on experience what it is like for a child to grow up in poverty in a third world country. The purpose is to give people an international missions experience and opportunity to put their faith into action. Times are Friday and Saturday from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM each day, and Sunday from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Plan for your family to be with us especially on Sunday, October 6. An opportunity will be given to sponsor one or more of the children for a monthly amount of $38 each to aid in meeting both physical and spiritual needs of the child and for them to be mentored through a local evangelical church.

MARTI WRANGLER BIBLE CLUB – Bible Club will begin THIS Tuesday, October 1, meeting from 3:30 – 4:40 PM at Marti Elementary School located at 2020 West Kilpatrick in Cleburne. You MUST complete the CISD background check and have it turned in and approved before the first club meeting! To volunteer, to get info on the background check procedure, or to get answers to any other questions, please contact Phyllis McPherson at 817-202-5148.
