OUR CHURCH WILL HOST – the “Compassion Journey” on the weekend of October 4-6. It will be an outreach to the people of Johnson County to learn through a hands-on experience what it is like for a child to grow up in poverty in a third world country. Its purpose is to give people an international missions experience and put their faith into action. Mark your calendars and plan for your family to be with us especially on Sunday, October 6. An opportunity will be given to sponsor one or more of these children for a monthly amount of $38 each to aid in meeting both physical and spiritual needs of the child and for them to be mentored through a local evangelical church.
