WELCOME to Cleburne Bible Church. If you haven’t made a decision to trust Christ as your personal Savior, our hope and prayer for you is that you will make that decision. “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” (1 John 5:11-12)

OFFERING BOXES – are located at the front and side entrances to the building and just inside each door to the worship center. Online giving is also available, as is text giving.  For the phone number and/or directions, please click HERE, or you may pick up directions at the Kiosk.

BAPTISM – Will take place again on Sunday, October 14. If you desire baptism at that time, please call the church office to schedule an appointment with one of the pastors.

DISCOVERY CLASS – will introduce you to the mission, vision and values of CBC, as well as our history and the many ministries available to you. The class, which meets for 4 consecutive Sundays in Room 109 at 9:00 AM, is required for membership or if you desire to serve at CBC. If you are new here or have not been through the Discovery Class and would like to know more about CBC, sign up today at the kiosk and you will be added to the waiting list for the next available class sessions.

PARENTING SEMINAR – Featuring Dr. Barbara Sorrels speaking on Nurturing Healthy Relationships Across Childhood. The event is free but registration is required. Childcare is available for elementary aged and younger at $6 per child or $15 for three or more children. Childcare has been closed, but parents can still register to attend. Register HERE.

AWANA – Kids we will see you THIS Wednesday for Clown Around Night. What kind of clown will YOU be??

SNACK SACK MINISTRY – will take place THIS Thursday, October 11 at 11:00 AM (after Ladies Bible Studies) in Student Ministries Area-A. We need your help! The snack sacks are given to children who may not have enough nourishing food during the days that school is out.

MAN CAMP – All Middle School boys get ready for another awesome year of Man Camp! The dates are October 20-21. We hope you will join us for the camp-out at the Sandefur’s place. Pick up your information packet in SMA-A.

Attention YOUNG ADULTS, AGE 18 – 30!! We invite you to join us at the home of Kevin and Bethany Sale, 1606 Hemphill Drive, each Tuesday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM. We will be discussing Welcome to Adulting: Navigating Faith, Friendship, Finances, and the Future, by Jonathan “JP” Pokluda, a young adult pastor at Watermark Community Church, Dallas. On the last Tuesday of each month we meet at The Porch at Watermark. Questions? Contact ksale@cleburnebible.org.

MEN’S STUDY – The final volume of 33 The Series on Authentic Manhood begins THIS Wednesday, October 10, meeting at 7:00 PM in Rooms 109-110. Sign-ups for Volume 6, A Man and His Fatherhood, are available at the Men’s Ministry table in the Community Area.

FAMILY FLANNEL FUN NIGHT – Grab your flannel shirts and come join us for our CBC family fellowship on Saturday, October 27!  Family Flannel Fun Night will feature a Chili cook-off, Pie Contest, fellowship dinner, and fun for the kids!!  Come by the table in the Community Area and sign up for the contests or side dishes for the potluck. Volunteers are needed for two children’s booths—the fishing booth and the face painting booth.   Donations of bagged, wrapped candy for these two booths are also needed.

HOLD THIS DATE – Sunday, November 11!! CBC iServe Missions will again host God’s Thanksgiving for our community!! Please take one of the bags found in your chairs and begin to fill it with items from the list. Then be watching for announcements on volunteer sign-ups and other information.
