WELCOME to Cleburne Bible Church. If you haven’t made a decision to trust Christ as your personal Savior, our hope and prayer for you is that you will make that decision. “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” (1 John 5:11-12)

OFFERING BOXES – are located at the front and side entrances to the building and just inside each door to the worship center. Online giving is also available, as is text giving.  For the phone number and/or directions, please click HERE, or you may pick up directions at the Kiosk.

BAPTISM – Will take place again on Sunday, May 20. If you desire baptism at that time, please call the church office to schedule an appointment with one of the pastors.

MEMBERSHIP – Would you like to become a member of CBC? Do you desire to serve in one of the many areas of ministry offered by CBC? If so, then we invite you to sign up for Discovery Class, which will be required should you desire to serve. Discovery Class meets for four consecutive Sundays each month at 9:00 a.m. Sign up at the kiosk for the next available class sessions.  NOTE: Discovery will not begin new sessions until January.


PINE COVE Camp in the City – for kids who are going into first THROUGH going into sixth grades is set for July 9-13.  Have you registered? Registration will remain open until June 23.  Online registration is available at  Scholarship applications are available. Contact Karen Sarver at 817-501-9060.

AWANA BANQUET – Please join us THIS WEDNESDAY, May 9, to celebrate your child’s accomplishments and the AWANA year.  We will begin serving food at 6:00 p.m. and the AWARDS ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m.  There will be no Women’s or Men’s Studies so that families may celebrate together.  See the note below on Youth.

Student Ministries: THE HUB

SENIOR BANQUET – The Senior Banquet for this year’s high school graduates is scheduled for Monday, May 14! Parents/Guardians, if you plan to attend the banquet, please contact Matt or Kevin to receive more details.

THIS WEEK – Due to the AWANA Awards Banquet this Wednesday, May 9, there will be no Student Ministries. Matt and Kevin encourage those youth who have younger siblings in AWANA to attend the event on Wednesday in support of their siblings.


OPEN GROUP –  meets each Sunday evening at 6:00 PM in Room 101. Remember – growth takes place in community. If you are not involved in a small group already, we would love for you to join us!

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER – National Day of Prayer Guides are available at the kiosk in the Community Area. If you missed the prayer event on May 3 and would like to have one for your prayer time you are invited to take one. Please continue to pray for regarding the many issues that are noted in the prayer guide.

SISTERS IN SPIRIT – All ladies are invited to hear Mrs. Mary Schubert’s story as she shares with us at Sisters in Spirit on Thursday, May 10, at 6:30 PM in Room 101! Bring finger foods or $2.00 and come for a wonderful time of fellowship, to be blessed AND to be a blessing!

LADIES – if you were not able to attend the Simulcast last Saturday we have until May 28 to re-show the teaching sessions. Please contact Kathy Kunkel at 817-517-3440 if you are interested. Also, if you need a t-shirt please contact Kathy. An order will be placed for more Small and XXL.

iSERVE MISSIONS OUTREACH – Who wants to work for Jesus? We need your hands and feet to help hand out food, pray and share the Gospel on Thursday, May 17, to our community. Meet at Harvesting International Food Bank, 1521 E, Henderson, from 5:00-7:00 PM. If you can’t make it at 5:00, please join us when you can. See you there!

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who invested their time during the week of the Science events with kids!! We appreciate those who were available here at CBC on the days schools visited here, for the family day at CBC, and those who spent time at Marti to help make the week a great success. We continue to meet new families and kids because of it! Follow-up continues!
