WELCOME to Cleburne Bible Church. If you haven’t made a decision to trust Christ as your personal Savior, our hope and prayer for you is that you will make that decision. “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” (1 John 5:11-12)
OFFERING BOXES – are located at the front and side entrances to the building and just inside each door to the worship center. Online giving is also available, as is text giving. For the phone number and/or directions, please click HERE, or you may pick up directions at the Kiosk.
BAPTISM – Will take place again on Sunday, March 11. If you desire baptism at that time, please call the church office to schedule an appointment with one of the pastors.
MEMBERSHIP – Would you like to become a member of CBC? Do you desire to serve in one of the many areas of ministry offered by CBC? If so, then we invite you to sign up for Discovery Class, which will be required should you desire to serve. Discovery Class meets for four consecutive Sundays each month at 9:00 a.m. Sign up at the kiosk for the next available class sessions. NOTE: Discovery will not begin new sessions until January.
PINE COVE Camp in the City – is coming July 9-13 for kids who have finished kindergarten (going into first) THROUGH finished fifth (going into sixth). Registration has begun and people from the community are signing up each week! If your child needs help raising funds, popcorn sales have begun! Contact Karen Sarver for more information. Student Ministries: THE HUB
*Spring Break Mission Trip: for High School, March 10-15, to Rockport, TX for hurricane recovery work. (For a list of needed supplies, please see Matt or Pastor Don.)
OPEN GROUP – is for everyone. If you are not already involved in a small group, then join US this evening at 6:00 PM in Room 101. This is a great way to meet people and get connected at CBC! Everyone is welcome.
PRAYER BREAKFAST – 15th Annual Cleburne Christian Leadership Prayer Breakfast, Monday, March 5, at 6:50 AM (doors open at 6:15). Music by Katie Stallings. Speaker is Safeeya Schnaufer who was born a Muslim and is now a Christian. Tickets ($5) are available in the Community Area from Carol Cooper.
YOUNG ADULTS – Attention young adults age 18 – 30!! We are meeting this Tuesday to travel to The Porch at Watermark Church in Dallas. Questions? Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
SANDWICHES NEEDED! – CBC Women’s Ministry needs 34 dozen sandwiches for the CISD Multi-Cultural Fair that will be held on Thursday, March 8. Please sign up in the Community Area.
PREGNANCY CENTER SPRING GALA – takes place on Friday, March 9, with dinner and entertainment featuring comedian Anita Renfro. The SPRING GALA presents the opportunity to stand together to affirm and promote a culture of life in our community. On the kiosk in the Community Area you will find fliers with more info and an opportunity to make a commitment to support the Center in their ministry of saving the lives of unborn babies and offering a way for spiritual life to the moms.
THE PRICILLA SHIRER SIMULCAST – is scheduled for Saturday, April 28, at CBC. Doors open and registration begins at 8:00 AM; program begins at 9:00 AM and will conclude at 4:35 PM. This event is open to all ladies. Get tickets by clicking the green button below.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Brian Goodman, the CBC Facilities Manager is going to be unable, due to an injury, to do as much of the physical labor as he has in the past that is required to maintain the grounds this spring and summer. CBC is in the process of organizing a team of volunteer groundskeepers to give Brian a hand. We need as many volunteers as we can recruit in order to schedule the work on a rotation basis.
