WELCOME to Cleburne Bible Church. If you haven’t made a decision to trust Christ as your personal Savior, our hope and prayer for you is that you will make that decision. “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” (1 John 5:11-12)
OFFERING BOXES – are located at the front and side entrances to the building and just inside each door to the worship center. Online giving is also available, as is text giving. For the phone number and/or directions, please click HERE, or you may pick up directions at the Kiosk.
BAPTISM – Will take place again on Sunday, April 8. If you desire baptism at that time, please call the church office to schedule an appointment with one of the pastors.
MEMBERSHIP – Would you like to become a member of CBC? Do you desire to serve in one of the many areas of ministry offered by CBC? If so, then we invite you to sign up for Discovery Class, which will be required should you desire to serve. Discovery Class meets for four consecutive Sundays each month at 9:00 a.m. Sign up at the kiosk for the next available class sessions. NOTE: Discovery will not begin new sessions until January.
PINE COVE Camp in the City – is coming July 9-13 for kids who have finished kindergarten (going into first) THROUGH finished fifth (going into sixth). Registration has begun and people from the community are signing up each week! If your child needs help raising funds, popcorn sales have begun! Contact Karen Sarver for more information. *Spring Break Mission Trip: Pray for the mission trip!
PRAYER – Please remember our Mission Team serving in Rockport this week, helping with Hurricane Harvey recovery. Pray for safety, wellness, good spirits and effective ministry for Christ.
OPEN GROUP – is for everyone. If you are not already involved in a small group, then join US this evening at 6:00 PM in Room 101. This is a great way to meet people and get connected at CBC! Everyone is welcome.
iSERVE MISSIONS OUTREACH – Want to be blessed and be a blessing to someone? If so, then iServe needs your help THIS Thursday, March 15, for this month’s outreach at the food bank, handing out groceries, praying for those who want prayer and sharing the Gospel! Meet at Harvesting International located at 1521 E. Henderson, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. If you can’t make it AT 5:00, just come when you can. We will still need your help till 7:00. Hope to see you there!!
MENS BREAKFAST – RSVP to the church office to be sure there is food for YOU and plan to join us on Saturday, March 24, at 8:00 AM for the next Men’s Breakfast. We will have an interview with one of our Elders, Larry Neutzler. All men are invited!
OPEN HOUSE – You are invited to an Open House at Lonestar Ranch & Outdoors (815 W Industrial Blvd) on Saturday, March 24, between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. ATVs will be available for rides; other equipment will be on display; free burgers will be served beginning at 11:30 AM until they’re all gone. Men, bring your kids out for a fun time outdoors!
HOLY WEEK SERVICES will take place March 26 – 30 at the Cleburne Conference Center from 7:00 – 8:00 AM. On Wednesday, March 28, Tim Whitlock will host, Wendy Elliott will speak and CBC will be recognized.
GOOD FRIDAY WORSHIP – 7:00 PM at CBC. There will be no childcare provided.
EASTER SUNDAY – Worship at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 AM at CBC. No Sunday School. Childcare will be provided for infants through age 3. There will be no evening activities.
THE PRICILLA SHIRER SIMULCAST – is scheduled for Saturday, April 28, at CBC. Doors open and registration begins at 8:00 AM; program begins at 9:00 AM and will conclude at 4:35 PM. This event is open to all ladies. Get tickets by clicking the green button below.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Brian Goodman, the CBC Facilities Manager is going to be unable, due to an injury, to do as much of the physical labor as he has in the past that is required to maintain the grounds this spring and summer. CBC is in the process of organizing a team of volunteer groundskeepers to give Brian a hand. We need as many volunteers as we can recruit in order to schedule the work on a rotation basis. Dear CBC Family, we just want to thank you all for the beautiful spath plant that you gave in memory of Joylee McCoy. Thank you also for the wonderful lunch you provided our family after her funeral. Your outpouring of love is very much appreciated.
