Sermon Series: Behold the King

Scripture: Matthew 8:1-17

WELCOME to Cleburne Bible Church. If you haven’t made a decision to trust Christ as your personal Savior, our hope and prayer for you is that you will make that decision. “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” (1 John 5:11-12)

OFFERING BOXES – are located at the front and side entrances to the building and just inside each door to the worship center. Online giving is also available, as is text giving.  For the phone number and/or directions, please click HERE, or you may pick up directions at the Kiosk.

BAPTISM – Will take place again on Sunday, April 14. If you desire baptism at that time, please call the church office to schedule an appointment with one of the pastors.

DISCOVERY CLASS – will introduce you to the mission, vision and values of CBC, as well as our history and the many ministries available to you. The class, which meets for 4 consecutive Sundays in Room 109 at 9:00 AM, is required for membership or if you desire to serve at CBC. If you are new here or have not been through the Discovery Class and would like to know more about CBC, sign up today at the kiosk and you will be added to the waiting list for the next available class sessions.

Children

PINE COVE – Registration has begun for Pine Cove Camp in the City! The dates are July 8-12 – the second week of July – and camp is from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM each day for kids who have finished kindergarten through fifth grade (going into 1st – going into 6th). Cost per child is $280. Register at pinecove.com/city/cleburne-bible.

PARENT-CHILD DEDICATION – There are two Parent-Child Dedication events scheduled for this year. The first is scheduled for Saturday, March 30 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM. The second is set for Saturday, October 5 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM. Parents may sign up with Barbra Valerio in the Nursery/Preschool hallway. Each service is limited to 12 families, so please sign up as soon as possible.

Student Ministries

BRUNCH & DESSERT AUCTION – will begin immediately after first worship hour. Donations of HOMEMADE desserts for the auction will be appreciated. If you would like to provide a dessert, please bring it BEFORE first worship hour that day. Include the type of dessert AND your name. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Student Ministries summer trips.

Adults

JOHN CLAEYS – author of The Impending Apocalypse and A New World Coming, will be leading the New Testament Survey class on March 17, teaching from Revelation, during BOTH hours, meeting in Room 101. All other classes with the exception of Children’s classes will be cancelled to enable all who wish to do so to attend. A luncheon featuring a Q & A session with John will follow the second hour and is open to all. YOU MUST RSVP BY SIGNING UP AT THE TABLE IN THE COMMUNITY AREA TO ATTEND THE LUNCHEON. DEADLINE TO RSVP IS MARCH 15.

WRANGLER BIBLE CLUB – has begun for the spring, meeting each Tuesday at 3:30 PM at Marti Elementary. Come join the team, make a difference in the life of a child and experience what God is doing there! Contact Phyllis McPherson (phyllis.mcpherson@gmail.com or 817-202-5148) for more information!

SINGLE MOMS SEEKING GOD – On Sunday evening, March 3 at 6:00 PM a small group for single moms will be launched. If you are a single mom and desire fellowship and a closer relationship with God, please consider joining us. Sign up today at the table in the Community Area. Childcare will be provided but must be reserved. To reserve space for your child, please contact Barbara Valerio at 817-648-9878.

GOING BEYOND SIMULCAST with PRISCILLA SHIRER – hosted by Greater Mount Zion and Cleburne Bible Church, Saturday, April 6. Tickets are $15; includes boxed lunch and all materials. Tickets can be purchased at HERE. No childcare will be provided.

A 6-Week AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) CLASS – will be offered beginning on Monday, March 18 at 6:30 PM in SMA-B. The cost is $8. Pre-registration is required and must be done by March 17.
