PDF: Bulletin June 2, 2019

Today’s Message: “If I had/were a hammer…”
Scripture: Selected from Judges 6-8

WELCOME to Cleburne Bible Church. If you haven’t made a decision to trust Christ as your personal Savior, our hope and prayer for you is that you will make that decision. “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” (1 John 5:11-12)

PRAY FOR OUR PRESIDENT – An Open Letter from Franklin Graham (Abbreviated) – Along with 250 plus Christian leaders I am asking followers of Christ across our nation to set aside June 2 (today) as a special day of prayer for President Donald Trump. In the history of our country, no president has been attacked as he has. I believe the only hope for him, and this nation, is God. This is a critical time for America. We need to pray for God to intervene, asking that He protect, strengthen, encourage and guide the President. [God] is all-powerful, and He rules over the affairs of nations. The Bible instructs us to pray for those in authority, “that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior” (1 Timothy 2:2–3).
