Series: “Behold the King”
Today’s Message:
“Finding Courage”
Passage: Matthew 14:22-36

WELCOME to Cleburne Bible Church. If you haven’t made a decision to trust Christ as your personal Savior, our hope and prayer for you is that you will make that decision. “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. CBC Kidz – Children’s Ministry

Good News! The wee ones are coming back! We are ready to bring back infants, 1’s and 2’s beginning August 2!! Thank you to those who have signed up to help. If you plan to volunteer but have not let us know, please give Barbra Valerio a call asap (817.648.9878).

VOLUNTEER – This is a small army of volunteers to coordinate and schedule! With the added challenge of COVID exposures – and uncertain response times – we need additional “healthy” people to be willing to be on call at the last minute more than ever before!

PLEASE LET US KNOW if you are planning to bring your littles back! We want to make sure we have enough help and enough space. Your patience and cooperation as we determine the best practices to keep everyone safe is critical! Register your kids using the Church Center registration application.

PROMOTION SUNDAY – will take place on August 2 for kindergarten through youth. Keep your kids in their current grade level classrooms until then. Younger children – infants through age 4 – promote developmentally or on their birthday. Always check with the leaders before moving them to make sure the transition works for everyone involved!

MOM LINK – If you were on the original childcare team last year and are able to return, please let Lindsey Hines and Barbra Valerio know asap! We need to secure these leaders before Mom Link can meet again!

THE HUB – Student Ministry

PROGRAMMING – Student Ministry is continuing to meet on Sundays and Wednesdays, with modifications for social distancing and more.  Updates are being sent in a newsletter each month.  For more information, please contact our Youth Pastor, Kevin Sale.

FOLLOW THE STAR – Have you ever imagined being there the night that Jesus was born? What would that have been like? Follow the Star is a live, outdoor Christmas experience that will take you back on a journey through the birth, crucifixion and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The iServe Leadership Team is working now on the details for this amazing opportunity to share the Good News with our community. The production is set to take place in December on CBC property, but preparations and sign-ups must begin now. We need your help! Find more information on our Follow The Star page or through the Events Page on the Church Center App.
