Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 1:3-12

WELCOME to Cleburne Bible Church. If you haven’t made a decision to trust Christ as your personal Savior, our hope and prayer for you is that you will make that decision. “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” (1 John 5:11-12)

OFFERING BOXES – are located at the front and side entrances to the building and just inside each door to the worship center. Online giving is also available, as is text giving.  For the phone number and/or directions, please click HERE, or you may pick up directions at the Kiosk.

BAPTISM – Will take place again on Sunday, August 12. If you desire baptism at that time, please call the church office to schedule an appointment with one of the pastors.

MEMBERSHIP – Would you like to become a member of CBC? Do you desire to serve in one of the many areas of ministry offered by CBC? If so, then we invite you to sign up for Discovery Class, which will be required should you desire to serve. Discovery Class meets for four consecutive Sundays each month at 9:00 a.m. Sign up at the kiosk for the next available class sessions.  NOTE: Discovery will not begin new sessions until January.


PINE COVE Camp in the City…. Welcome Pine Cove Counselors! Camp begins tomorrow!!! Parents, can check their kids in early today to avoid the lines tomorrow, and also meet your kids’ counselors. Come by the Pine Cove table in the Community Area. Due to the camp equipment set up, as well as for security, please note:

* parking lot by the office area will be blocked
* all meetings have been cancelled or moved off campus

The Next Generation needs leaders!

Come join the team and build relationships with children and their families as we lead these kids to Jesus!  Don’t miss out on the blessing!  Give us a call and let us know you are available!  Specific opportunities:
*1st Grade – additional backup leaders & assistants – 10:45 AM service
*2nd Grade Girls – leader – 10:45 AM service
*2nd Grade Boys – leader – 10:45 AM service
*Subs for all ages
*Babies & Toddlers – both services, rotating schedules are possible
*One-on-one buddies for our special needs kids are needed during both service hours.
Many additional opportunities that are not on this list as we prepare for the fall launch of ministries!  Come join the team!  We’re praying for you to join us soon!

LADIES – we are having a farewell gathering for Jill Goodgion on Thursday, July 26, 6:30 PM, at Grumps in Cleburne. We will receive a love offering to help with expenses as she goes to serve at the Christian International School of Prague in the Czech Republic.  You will order and pay for your food as you arrive. Please RSVP to Kathy Kunkel (817.517.3440) by text or calling no later than Monday, July 23, so that we can get a count to Grumps.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY – has resumed for the summer meeting on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM. No sign-up and no book needed; just bring your Bible and come! The study is in Romans, following this schedule:

iSERVE MISSIONS – The iServe Missions Team invites YOU to come be a part of this great team. Please join us at Harvesting International Food Bank (1521 E. Henderson in Cleburne) on Thursday, July 19, 5:00-7:00 PM. If you can’t be there at 5:00, come when you can. We will give groceries to those who need them, pray with/for those who have needs and concerns, and we always share the Gospel of Salvation. If you serve, YOU will be the one who receives the blessing!

CBC/iServe HOSPITALITY TENT needs volunteers – There will be a hospitality tent again this year for the Goatneck 100 Bike Ride on July 28 where we will serve water, fruit, etc. to the riders and spectators. Volunteers are needed for the following shifts: 6:00 AM, 9:00 AM and Noon. If you can and will serve, please go by the Sign-up table in the community area to sign up. Items you will need to bring: cutting boards, knives for cutting fruit, large bowls, tall mixing spoons, pitchers. The team asks for fervent prayer for God to bless them with opportunities to share the gospel during this event.

GOATNECK PARKING VOLUNTEERS – Also during the Goatneck each year, CBC makes our parking lot available for the participants. About four volunteers are needed to direct parking from 6:30 – 8:30 AM on that day (July 28). If you can assist with this need, please contact Brian at 817-933-1326.
