 Get A Job…

WELCOME to Cleburne Bible Church. If you haven’t made a decision to trust Christ as your personal Savior, our hope and prayer for you is that you will make that decision. “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” (1 John 5:11-12)

LEADERSHIP NIGHT – Because leadership is vital to the vision, mission and ministry of CBC, we are launching the new church year with a Leadership Night THIS Friday evening, August 3, beginning with a light meal at 5:00 PM. At 6:30 PM worship, vision casting, team-building and breakouts for training and planning will begin.  If you are a leader in AWANA or another area of Children’s Ministry, Sunday School, Outreach, Frontline, Hospitality, Youth Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, or another area not mentioned, you are invited. Those who are interested in becoming involved in one of our leadership teams are also encouraged to attend. If you have not RSVPd, you may still do so before the end of the day TODAY to the staff ministry leader of the area of your service or interest.

Those of you with children can help us include as many of the Children’s Ministry team as possible in the Leadership training if you will plan for childcare on your own. However, if you are unable to do so, please RSVP to Barbra Valerio (817.648.9878) TODAY for childcare here at CBC. Please include your child’s/children’s names and ages when you contact Barbra.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY – meets on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM with a study in the book of Romans. No sign-up and no book needed; just bring your Bible and come for these remaining sessions:
July 25 – Identity in Christ
August 1 – Dead Men Walking
August 8 – Satan’s Grip Broken
August 15 – Celebration Cookout

Thank you….

I’m praising God for the generosity of CBC in helping me as I  raise my support for the Prague mission. It’s so exciting to see God at work! I especially want to thank the Women’s Ministry team for the delightful gathering at Grump’s last Thursday evening. Your kindness in word and deed ($$$) warms my heart and makes our Father smile!
