WELCOME to Cleburne Bible Church. If you haven’t made a decision to trust Christ as your personal Savior, our hope and prayer for you is that you will make that decision. “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” (1 John 5:11-12)

BAPTISM – Will take place again on Sunday, January 14. If you desire baptism at that time, please call the church office to schedule an appointment with one of the pastors.
MEMBERSHIP – Would you like to become a member of CBC? Do you desire to serve in one of the many areas of ministry offered by CBC? If so, then we invite you to sign up for Discovery Class, which will be required should you desire to serve. Discovery Class meets for four consecutive Sundays each month at 9:00 a.m. Sign up at the kiosk for the next available class sessions. NOTE: Discovery will not begin new sessions until January.
AWANA – AWANA kicks off the new year this Wednesday, January 10 at 6:30 p.m. It is the first night that Grand Prix cars will be available for purchase.
PARENT LUNCHEON – News from The Hub for parents of Junior and Senior High youth – You are invited to a luncheon on Sunday, January 14, immediately following the second worship hour. The meal will take place in Student Ministries Area B (side next to the kitchen), and will be provided. The youth leadership will share about exciting ministry programming changes and how you can be a part of it, and plans for special youth trips and events for the spring and summer months. Please come and join us!!
RE|ENGAGE Marriage Ministry begins a new series at 6:00 PM this evening, Sunday, January 7. re|engage examines God’s design for marriage and applies principles from the Bible to guide couples towards growth in their relationship with each other. Cost per couple is $50. Spots are still available so stop by the table in the Community Area to sign up, or you can register online here. Childcare will be provided. OPEN GROUP – kicks off a New Year this evening at 6:00 PM in Room 101 with Andy Stanley’s “Killin It”, dealing with pride. This will be a 3-week program. Everyone is welcome to join us for Open Group!!
AVOID, DENY, DEFEND, Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events – will be presented at Cleburne Bible Church for the CBC family on Tuesday, January 9, 7:00 PM. This event is sponsored by the Guardians, the security team of CBC, and will be conducted by a representative of the Cleburne Police Department. Everyone is welcome. WINTER LADIES BIBLE STUDIES – begin Wednesday, January 10, Thursday, January 11 and Monday, January 15.
–The study for Wednesday will be Uninvited by Lysa Terkeurst and facilitated by Yvonne Looper at 6:30 PM in Room 101.
–This study will also take place on Thursday morning at 9:00 AM, facilitated by MaryAnn Ewing.
–Sunny Quinn will continue with a Kay Arthur study of Mark (JESUS-Listening for His Voice (Mark 7-13) and JESUS-Understanding His Death and Resurrection (Mark 14-16)) at the same time on Thursday mornings.
–The Monday evening study will begin on January 15 at 6:30 PM, and is facilitated by Brittney Snodgress Ferguson. The study is “Entrusted” by Beth Moore and is open to all ladies.
–Sign-ups for the studies are available today (Sunday) and next Sunday at the Women’s Ministry booth in the Community Area.
MENS 33 – For the first time at CBC! 33 Series, Volume 4, A Man and His Work begins with a mixer/introduction on Wednesday, January 10, 7:00 PM, in Rooms 109/110 (across from the Student Ministries Area). The first lesson is Wednesday, January 17. Sign-ups and books ($15) are available Sunday and next Sunday (Jan 7) at the Men’s Ministry booth in the Community Area.
iSERVE MISSIONS OUTREACH – Let’s begin the new year working for our precious Savior by spreading His name and showing kindness in and to our community. So many people do not realize that God loves them so much, and that all they have to do is BELIEVE that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and to give us salvation and eternal life.
