WELCOME to Cleburne Bible Church. If you haven’t made a decision to trust Christ as your personal Savior, our hope and prayer for you is that you will make that decision. “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” (1 John 5:11-12)

OFFERING BOXES – are located at the front and side entrances to the building and just inside each door to the worship center. Online giving is also available, as is text giving.  For the phone number and/or directions, please click HERE, or you may pick up directions at the Kiosk.

BAPTISM – Will take place again Sunday, February 9. If you desire baptism at that time, please call the church office to schedule an appointment with one of the pastors.

Online Registration opens February 13. This is our 10th year to partner with Pine Cove and we are anticipating a huge celebration! Get ready to sign up early!

BABY BOTTLES – Today is the LAST DAY to return money-filled baby bottles to CBC! If you do not get your bottle returned here today, please take it directly TO the Cleburne Pregnancy Center.

FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY (FPU) – helps people be better stewards of what God has given them and become more comfortable discussing money with their spouse (or accountability partner if you’re single). Not only does it help you make a plan to get rid of debt, it helps you to understand an overall financial picture – including insurances, mortgages, investing, budgeting, and contentment. FPU is set to begin on Sunday, February 2, at 9:00 AM. Class runs for 10 weeks and is $100. Sign up online at or contact Ben and Sara Bowles at 817-455-7501, or at the table in the Community Area.

MARTI BIBLE CLUB – begins again on Tuesday, February 4. There are some huddle groups of about 5 kids each who will be missing their leaders due to physical injuries and medical needs. We need some additional men and women to help! Please consider this amazing ministry! Contact Vicki ASAP (817.980.9091 or for information about joining this team! Background checks are required. Meeting times are from 3:30 – 4:30 PM on Tuesdays.

iSERVE MISSIONS – will be hosting a luncheon for administration and teachers at Adams Elementary on Thursday, February 13. Volunteers are needed to serve for an hour shift at the following times: 10:15-11:15 AM, 11:15 AM-12:15 PM, and 12:15-1:15 PM. Please contact Sarah Williams (817.368.3129) to volunteer.

iSERVE MISSIONS is SPONSORING UNDERSTANDING POVERTY, a workshop which will enable CBC to learn more about the culture of poverty and to understand how to better love and serve the less fortunate of our local community. The date is Saturday, February 22, 9:00 AM – Noon in Room 101. Michael Pirtle, who oversees Vision Ministries at Denton Bible Church, will lead the workshop. Michael has earned a Master of Arts in Cross-cultural Ministries from Dallas Theological Seminary. We encourage everyone to attend so that, together, we can do a better job of “loving our neighbor as ourselves.”

Mark your calendar for the 17th Annual CLEBURNE CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP PRAYER BREAKFAST to be held on Monday, March 2, here at CBC. The music will be provided by Max Navarro of TCU. The speaker will be Mike Barber, a Prison Minister. Tickets ($5) can be obtained from Carol Cooper or the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce.

What’s Happening at CBC

PATHWAY TO MEMBERSHIP – The CBC Discovery class is a series of sessions that will introduce you to Cleburne Bible Church. Each new series begins on the first Sunday of the month. Sign up at the kiosk in the Community Area to let us know if you want to participate in the next available series. Discovery meets in Room 101 at 9:00 AM and is led by Kevin Bentley and Larry Neutzler.

OPEN GROUP – is a starting point for building relationships and finding common ground with others at CBC. The Group will meet again on Sunday, February 2, at 6:00 PM in Room 101. Open Group is led by Kevin Bentley.

MEN’S MINISTRY –The Wednesday evening Men’s Bible Study begins THIS Wednesday, February 5, at 7:00 PM in Rooms 109-110. Counter Culture, by David Platt, points out that battles are raging over a number of social issues in our culture today, and is a call to faithfully follow Christ. Men who have not yet signed up but are interested in participating should contact Tim Biggs at 817.449.9143, or Jim Ely at 817.675.3266.
