Today’s Message:
“As One Door Closes, Another Opens”

WELCOME to Cleburne Bible Church. If you haven’t made a decision to trust Christ as your personal Savior, our hope and prayer for you is that you will make that decision. “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” (1 John 5:11-12)

CBC Kidz – Children’s Ministry

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD –  Time to shop! It’s time to start collecting items for this year’s Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Back-to-school items are on sale now, so it is a great time to grab crayons, pencils, markers and glue sticks. Go online to www.samaritanspurse.org/occ to learn more about what kind of items to pack.

If you are cleaning out closets and shelves and have “like new” items such as a collection of new Beanie Babies, CBC Kidz love to help pack boxes. CBC Kidz will be collecting new tooth brushes, hair brushes, wash cloths, toys and other items to help fill boxes this year. Watch for more about this soon! Rachel Hillman will be coordinating OCC for CBC. Collection week will be November 16-23; mark your calendar.

A Wednesday evening study will begin on September 9, at 6:30 PM, meeting on the AWANA schedule. This 7-week study of The Daniel Prayer explores the desperate kind of prayer uttered by the prophet Daniel that storms the gates of heaven and brings results here on earth. It will be led by Yvonne Looper. The class will be limited to 30 ladies.

LADIES PLEASE NOTE!!! There is limited space for Children’s Ministry, so if you have children that you will be bringing you MUST reserve their space at the same time that you sign up for your chosen study.
