Sermon Series: Behold the King

Scripture: Matthew 9:31 – 10:1

WELCOME to Cleburne Bible Church. If you haven’t made a decision to trust Christ as your personal Savior, our hope and prayer for you is that you will make that decision. “And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.” (1 John 5:11-12)

OFFERING BOXES – are located at the front and side entrances to the building and just inside each door to the worship center. Online giving is also available, as is text giving.  For the phone number and/or directions, please click HERE, or you may pick up directions at the Kiosk.

BAPTISM – Will take place again in May. If you desire baptism at that time, please call the church office to schedule an appointment with one of the pastors.

DISCOVERY CLASS – will introduce you to the mission, vision and values of CBC, as well as our history and the many ministries available to you. The class, which meets for 4 consecutive Sundays in Room 109 at 9:00 AM, is required for membership or if you desire to serve at CBC. If you are new here or have not been through the Discovery Class and would like to know more about CBC, sign up today at the kiosk and you will be added to the waiting list for the next available class sessions.


PINE COVE – Registration IS OPEN NOW for Pine Cove Camp in the City at Cleburne Bible Church, July 8-12; $280 per child. Don’t wait until the last minute to register your children! Online registration is up and running at Camp is for kids going into 1st through going into 6th grades. For more information check out the Children’s Ministry Page.

THE HUB – Student Ministries

SENIOR BANQUET – Graduates of 2019 and Parents/Guardians, mark your calendar for Monday, May 6, 6:30 PM for the Senior Banquet which will be held here at CBC. We will need 4 pictures of your graduate for the slideshow. They should range in age from babyhood-childhood-to the present and are due no later than April 28. Please bring hard copies to the church office (these will be returned to you if you leave us your contact info), or e-mail digital copies to Allison at If you plan to attend the banquet, please contact Allison to receive more details.



Holy Week Services begin tomorrow (Monday), meeting at 6:45 AM each day (Monday through Friday) at the Cleburne Conference Center. CBC will be recognized on Tuesday.

Good Friday Communion Service will take place on Friday, April 19 at 7:00 PM led by Pastor Dean.

Easter Sunrise Service and Breakfast at 6:30 AM, with worship led by Dave Sammons.

Easter Worship Celebrations will take place at 9:00 and 10:45 AM with Pastor David bringing the messages.


PRE-EASTER PRAYER GATHERING – You are invited to a PRE-EASTER prayer gathering as we ask God to manifest His Presence, revive His people, and bring the lost to salvation all across our county in every church! Join us at Bono Baptist Church on Saturday, April 20 at 10:00 AM as we pray for every church in the county. This event is Sponsored by Area Prayer Ministries (including CBC) and Southwest Metroplex Baptist Association.

PARENTS PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO childcare provided for the Good Friday Communion Service. There will also be no childcare provided for the Sunrise Service. Regular Easter Sunday services are a time for families to worship together at CBC. During the 9:00 & 10:45 AM worship hours there will be childcare provided for infants through Kindergarten only. Prepare to bring your children in first through fifth grade to worship with the family!

OPERATION BLESSING BASS FISHING TOURNAMENT – April 20, 6:00 AM at Lake Whitney – McCown Valley. Entry fee is $150.00 2 man team. $25.00 of entry fee enters biggest bass contest. Lunch provided. Funds will benefit the ministry of Operation Blessing. Rules and regulations will apply. No alcohol allowed. Register online

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER – Love One Another is the theme for the NDP this year. Please mark your calendar and join us on Thursday, May 2 at 7:00 AM as we pray for our homes, church, community and nation, that we will truly learn to love one another as Jesus loves.
