Discovering CBC

Discovery Class, directed by Larry Neutzler, is an informal 1-session class where newcomers to CBC can meet the pastor and church leadership and learn more about Cleburne Bible Church, its mission and ministries. The class meets each Sunday morning duirng the Sunday School hour to allow newcomers a weekly opportunity to attend a session.

Sunday School: 9:50 a.m.


Traditional Fellowship and Bible Study Classes

The Lamplighters, Teacher-Sam Hommel

Elective Bible Study Classes are offered quarterly and study topics are announced in the weekly Sunday bulletin.

Traditional and elective classes meet during the 9:50 a.m. Sunday School hour.


Other Groups
Connected Hearts-A support group exploring together Biblical ways to walk through the process of restoration from the damage of abuse. Meets Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. during each series of sessions. which are announced in the weekly bulletin and monthly newsletter.

Women's Ministries-Offers Ladies Bible Studies which meet on Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m. each Spring and Fall, monthly breakfasts and/or luncheons, and other special events. Information and details on all events are announced in the weekly church bulletin and monthly newsletter.

 
Life Groups
Life Groups are the main groups of our Small Group ministry. A Life group is a Christ-centered group of twelve to sixteen, led by a shepherd and co-shepherd, where we experience His Life in four ways:

Upward - Life groups experience His Presence through worship and prayer.

Inward - Life group members love and serve each other through His Power as we seek to be doers of His Word.

Outward - Life groups are alive and growing as members bring others to experience His love.

Forward - Life groups are on mission to birth a new group as Christ leads and adds members.

Most Life Groups meet on Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in homes.

Childcare for children age 12 and under is available during Life Groups and is open only to the children of those parents who are attending a Life Group.

Intimate Encounters Marriage Class
Intimate Encounters will help you enjoy an intimate closeness in your marriage and family relationships. The class is held on Sunday evenings and is led by Dave & Beth denHartog. Each new session series will be announced on this website, in the church bulletin and in the newsletter. Cost is $20 per couple.
